Company News and Products

Enthone Ltd
Enthone have launched a new environmentally friendly trivalent chromium plating process the 'Trilyte Dusk' system. The process deposits a dark, decorative chromium layer over bright or satin nickel deposits. The 'warm' coloured coating is said to be ideal for a diversity of decorative automotive and household applications where fashion finishes are critical for product differentiation.
The process passes 80 hours CASS (in conjunction with multi-layer nickel systems) thus meeting most OEM exterior specifications.
The use of graphite anodes minimises high start-up and maintenance costs and meets local environment standards with decreased costs due to reduced water and air treatment requirements.
The deposit is said to be consistent over the normal CD range and is UV stable whilst the process is tolerant to current interruption.
